5 - week courses, once a week, 2 hours.
One of the best things about taking a photography class is to meet other photographers. Share ideas, get feedback and support.
I believe the best way to learn is by doing it! Classes are designed so the students are learning their camera and taking photos!
Level 1 class learning how to capture motion and shooting in various lighting scenarios. Learn your camera and shoot in low light!
Emphasis on capturing creative images.
Students learn to freeze motion and drag the shutter to create Artistic images.
Part of the Level 1 final class is shooting an Art installation of light and shadow. The class sketches the negative space and then shoots.
Learning Art elements allow students to see their images better before clicking the shutter. This practice is specific for learning how to see negative space.
Learn how to pose individuals and groups for better compositions.
Take home course notebooks, handouts and field notebooks are given to each student as part of the course. Each student is given a field notebook so they can record their intent for each image and the camera settings.
A slideshow is created of the student's images throughout the course and the students defend their images by using their notes from their field notebook. The intent of each image, camera settings and composition elements.
part of your course is the course booklet which I have worked very hard to create so you can L E A R N. Plus the very fun field notebook so you can log your photo intent, camera settings and composition elements. Slow down and SEE your image before you click the shutter.
students learn how to break down their images so they can see all the elements included in creating a strong image.
